Olivia Galvan comes from humble beginnings; she left her country to provide for her family together with her husband, Jose Perez. They both had a mission as many immigrants who come to this country to support their family left behind and to provide a better future to their kids. Her early adulthood was spent at home taking care of her kids, supporting her husband, and running the administrative side of the business.

Once her kids were old enough, she dedicated herself to running a 60+ employee business. She runs the company with grace, she is results oriented and goal driven. The learning curve hasn’t been easy, she has overcome many personal and business obstacles. Currently, Peninsula Catering and Events employs more than 60 employees and is a leader in the corporate catering industry.

Her resilience is inspiring and her dedication to hard work is admirable. There is a saying in Mexico that for every successful man, there is a great woman behind him and that is exactly what Olivia has been to the company and to her family. Now, she has been able to see the results of her hard work as one of her sons is graduating from university and she has been able to help and inspire many along the way.
