Creative Ideas Catering is a woman-owned and operated catering service supporting customers in the Bay Area, including local businesses and nonprofits. We are a full-service catering company that offers a global fusion of Latin flavors, and we're focused on providing high-quality service through sustainable practices and our customer-driven team.

Creative Ideas Catering, located in San Francisco, is a commercial kitchen, an upscale catering business focusing on healthy fresh ingredients, and a neighborhood cafe in an area badly in need of one. The company sources food locally, using organic ingredients whenever possible. CIC's mission is to create experiences through food and service at a fair price for its customers. They support the local economy and use local talent to build a strong community presence. Their commitment to always using best practices in customer service toward associates, the environment, and their community sums up their values. CIC has ten employees but is looking to hire two more within the next two months.

Lina Mills received the Northern Region Business Award in 2022, which recognizes an exemplary Hispanic small business in the Northern Region that makes significant contributions to the advancement of our communities. She deeply cares about her peers and her community. She always jumps at the opportunity to help others and has taken on some of her peers as mentees. She has volunteered at The Women's Building in SF and other nonprofits that seek her help with planning events, making meals, and donating prizes for fundraisers.

Lina acquired a commercial property on July 31, 2019, in SF. The acquisition of our building enables her to expand our catering operations, hire new employees and open a café in 2022 for the residents of Visitacion Valley and the community. This is also an opportunity to help others, and she plans to host cooking classes and workshops and mentor others who aspireto own and operate a food business.
